I freelance for various publications, websites and broadcasters including the BBC, Financial Times,  the Telegraph, Good Housekeeping, National Geographic Traveler, Fodor’s, Wanderlust, Women’s Health, BBC Online, Dow Jones, Trek & Mountain, The Great Outdoors  and Trailrunning Magazine. I was also Editor of RunUltra, the largest website for ultra runners. I am the Presenter of BBC2 Series, Morocco to Timbuktu: An Arabian Adventure and BBC News Series, Arabian Adventures: Secrets of the Nabateans. I am the author of four books: Walking with Nomads, runner up for the Edward Stanford Travel Book of the Year 2023, Adventures in Morocco (bestseller on Amazon travel) Morocco to Timbuktu: An Arabian Adventure and Dodging Elephants  I worked for BBC News for many and also freelanced for Channel 4, ITN and Sky.  I have worked on entertainment and trade magazines.  I speak fluent Arabic and have worked on Arabic TV News and also in Arabic/English magazines.  I spent a number of years as Managing Editor of a large ISP.
